REIKI HEALING CIRCLE
The American Reiki Academy offers a monthly Reiki Healing Circle in order for practitioners to work with Reiki, both
giving and receiving healing sessions. Practitioners have the opportunity to network with one another and hone their Reiki
skills within a supportive community.
Reiki Healing Circle is open to all levels of Reiki practitioners.

REIKI
SEVA- SERVICE WORK THROUGH REIKI
"Seva" is a Sanskrit word meaning
"selfless service." Performing seva represents a way to purify the soul by giving of oneself with nothing expected
in return. The American Reiki Academy offers Reiki Seva opportunities for practitioners to give Reiki to those in need of
healing who may be ill or working with particularly challenging situations. In the past we have offered: Reiki for AIDS patients;
Reiki for ill animals; Reiki for senior citizens; and Reiki for those struggling with addiction.
If
you would like to perform Reiki on a seva basis, please inquire.
REIKI GIVING
An inherent part
of Reiki energy involves opening up the heart to others in need--that is, giving time, expertise, or financial support to
people, animals, and projects that touch us. To that end, the American Reiki Academy is proud to actively support causes which
directly benefit people and animals. Currently we are involved in bringing books and school supplies to children in South
India and animal rescue efforts in Los Angeles. If you would like to be involved in such projects, please contact us
to see how you can participate.
BUY A 2012 CALENDAR--FEED
A CAT!
Healing Hope Cat Sanctuary in San Clemente, CA takes
in "special needs" cats--those cats who have been abandoned, are ill or elderly, or have nowhere to go. Healing
Hope is run by a wonderful Homeopath, Dr. Kim Rockshaw, who personally cares for these cats through homeopathy, flower essences,
natural supplements, and lots of love. This year we encourage friends of the American Reiki Academy to either make
a donation in any amount to this very special sanctuary OR purchase Healing Hope's 2012 color calendar, which shows photos
of the sanctuary's resident kitties, many of whom were ill and nursed back to health through Dr. Rockshaw's talented ways.
***The profit on one calendar will pay for the food and litter for 10 cats for one day.*** And even if
you are a confirmed dog lover, you can still buy a calendar, give it to any "crazy cat person" you know, and in
doing so, you will have helped 10 cats! Thank you for caring.
